SwingRush tracks a universe of 2,000 US stocks ranked by market cap. Each run scans 500 of them: a fixed 300-stock core — always the biggest-cap names, so mega-caps like AAPL or MSFT are never missed — plus 200 randomly rotated from the remaining ~1,700, so the long tail of smaller names still gets discovered over time.

All 500 stocks are scored with the same 12-indicator technical engine that powers SwingRush's free Signal Engine — RSI, EMA, MACD, Bollinger Bands, ADX, Stochastic, Williams %R, ROC, 50-day MA, Volume and Multi-Timeframe confirmation — using Yahoo Finance price data.
📰Phase 2 — News enrichment
Every one of the 500 scanned stocks then gets real news and analyst-sentiment scoring from Finnhub, combined into the final ranked score you see below.
